WORLD FREE AGENT SPRING TRAINING HAS ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL EVENT!

Cocoa, Florida-2006

After 17 days of Florida spring training baseball, International Performance Baseball Inc, was happy to announce 19 players from it's World Free Agent Spring training event (WFAST) will be attending spring trainings with the opportunity to become professional baseball players. Players were contracted from the United, American Association, Golden Baseball, Frontier, Canadian-Ameican and Northern Independent Professional Baseball Leagues. "The event gave several players that basically no one knew about the opportunity to showcase their skills over a 17 day professional spring training, which led to several players signing contracts" Pensacola Pelicans (American Association) manager Kash Beauchamp stated. I was able to sign 2 players out of this event that I hope can become productive players for our organization. Staff members for the event represented 4 of the Independent Leagues along with several scouts from MLB organizations were able to attend the event.  The WFAST group held their own against MLB organizational teams going 1-0-3. WFAST beat the minor league group from the New York Mets 8-5 in Port St. Lucie, Florida and tied the Florida Marlins group twice and the St. Louis Cardinals group once. Over the last 3 years the WFAST event has been able to produce 60 players signing professional contracts.
